A Cup of Coffee = A Cup of Kindness

Do you enjoy your job?

I enjoy my job because I get to help, and encourage others to do so also, spread some positivity in each other’s lives with a simple cup of coffee.

The things on paper that keep me happy are mostly related to ability to fully enjoy free time, the relatively stress free nature of management. I have the freedom to clock in and out while being in management without obligation past that. I am also able to take time off easily, making it easier to have better work-life balance.

The thing that truly fills my cup and keeps me going, is hearing that a simple cup of coffee turned somebody’s day around. I love building an environment where baristas can share that same attitude and the vibe of kindness spreads in and out of the cafe. Management is fun, generating results is something to be rewarded, but building an environment that inspires others to be positive gives me the most joy.

In a world with a lot of negativity, kindness needs to start somewhere.
